ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc., a global leader in non-invasive robotic brain surgery, participated in the annual scientific congress ESTRO 2025 (European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology), held on May 2–5 in Vienna, Austria.

For the first time, ZAP presented its flagship platform ZAP-X® Gyroscopic Radiosurgery® at ESTRO along with the new radiosurgery planning system ZAP-Axon®.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to see a full-size model of

• ZAP-X system
  an innovative solution for cranial radiosurgery that does not require expensive shielded bunkers and does not use radioactive Cobalt-60 sources. Workstations were also presented, showcasing the latest ZAP-Axon® software, which allowed attendees to explore real-time procedure planning tools.

• ZAP-X features unique gyroscopic mobility, enabling beam delivery from thousands of different angles within a large spherical zone. This technology enhances the precision of tumor irradiation while minimizing the impact on healthy brain tissue and critical structures. It also helps reduce the risk of long-term cognitive decline in patients.
